  Getting Started - Filling out the Student Questionnaire Form.


Your individualized financial aid profile is based on each one
of the selection criterion.  It is important that every item be
filled in as completely as possible.  Generally, the more
complete the information you provide, the better your chances
are to receive appropriate scholarship information.


For some entries you will be prompted to type in the information
requested ( Name, Address, Telephone Number...etc.) other times
you will be asked to select your answer from a list contained in
a pop up window ( College Major, Work Experience, Hobbies...etc.).
Some of the lists are quite long, please be sure to check the list
carefully and select all entries that apply to you.


Make sure you check for specific matches as well as general ones.
For example under college majors, if you want to major in chemistry
( general area ) make sure you select that entry from the list, but
also check for specific entries that you might also consider majoring
in.  Such as, environmental chemistry, atmospheric chemistry, research
...etc.  These are specific areas of study.



To help you find a specific selection this program has an autoscroll
feature that can be used to jump to the alphabetized section of the
list you want to go to.  By using the A - Z keys when you are in the
pop window you can scroll to the first selection that begins with the
letter key you type from the keyboard.



If there is not enough room on the form to complete your answer
or you can not find your answer in the pop window list, then
please write in your answer of the second page of the printed form.
It is important that you use the selections from the pop
windows whenever possible, because the entries are computer
coded for faster searching.
